Gokukoku no Brynhildr Second PV Releases, Ryota Ohsaka and Risa Taneda on Main Cast
The broadcast for the TV anime Gokukoku no Brynhildr will begin on Tokyo MX and other channels in April. The original work is a pure love dark fantasy by Rin Okamoto that is currently serialized in Weekly Young Jump (Shueisha). Now, the main cast has been announced. The main cast is full of wonderful members who have worked on many series.
Playing main character Ryota Murakami is Ryota Ohsaka. This popular seiyū has worked on Hamatora, Ace of Diamond, and a currently broadcasting TV anime in which he also plays the main character. This time, he plays a character who is haunted by his actions of letting his childhood friend die when he was a young boy. Keep an eye on how he will play this character who has the same name as him.
Playing the heroine Neko Kuroha is Risa Taneda. Taneda as well has ample experience playing main characters in a number of works including From the New World and Strike the Blood. The story of her character is that of a transfer student who looks strikingly similar to Ryota’s childhood friend. It seems we can look forward to witty dialogue between her and Ohsaka.
Addition cast members include Aya Suzaki from Tamako Market as Kana Tachibana, M.A.O. from Samurai Flamenco as Kazumi Schlieren-Sauer, and Azusa Tadokoro from I Couldn’t Become a Hero, So I Reluctantly Decided to Get a Job as Kotori Takatori.
Syncing up with the release of this information, the second PV was also released. The video shows personal introductions by the SD characters and the chance to hear the seiyū in action.
Directing the anime is Kenichi Imaizumi who also worked on Katekyō Hitman Reborn!. In charge of writing is Yukinori Kitajima known from such works as the game 428: Fūsa Sareta Shibuya de. Creating the animation is Armes.
