The anime Fairy Tail based on Hiro Mashima’s well-loved manga is returning as a new TV series that will start in April. Now, a new key visual of the series has been released. The visual shows main character Natsu Dragneel and many other familiar faces in new designs. Anticipation is rising by fans for this restart of the anime after one year.
Many projects are planned to take place as the broadcast draws nearer. Among them, the ones that seem to be gathering attention are an event to be held and special program to be distributed.
he event, titled Fairy Tail Dragon King Festival 2014, will be held on March 30 at Tokyo Gekijo. Author Mashima will be attending. Also, members of the stellar cast––including Tetsuya Kakihara (Natsu), Rie Kugimiya (Happy), and Sayaka Ohara (Erza Nightwalker)––will be attending as well. Even though the series is popular, this is the first large domestic event for the TV anime. Because of this, fans will likely be expecting great things. Tickets went on sale March 1. A ticket is also included as a present for readers in the No. 13 issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine on sale Feb. 26.
A special program will also be distributed on Nico Nico Live on March 16. The performers for this are still unknown, but it will be a program that conveys information about Fairy Tail and its charm. The new series is a joint production between A-1 Pictures and Bridge. Look forward to a new adventure with Natsu and the gang.
