It has been announced that animation company P.A. Works is working on a new original TV anime called Glasslip. The anime will begin broadcasting this summer. At the same time as this announcement, the official site and Twitter account of the anime opened.
Much is still wrapped in mystery regarding Glasslip. It can be seen on the official site that the heroine is Tōko Fukami, a 17-year-old girl from Fukui Prefecture whose dream is to become a glass artisan. The key visual shows a character who appears to be Fukami and an ocean scene depicted with a fisheye lens touch. Also on the visual is the phrase “Through glass, I can see tomorrow.” Anticipation will increase for the anime as summer approaches.
P.A. Works is an animation company that has acquired tremendous support from viewers for expressing in a fascinating way the settings of its works.
